Hello, Sunday. Speaking of Sun Day (toinks) - let me share my thoughts on this kind-of invisible-on-skin sun cream from Benton Cosmetic.

This is a broad spectrum chemical sunscreen powered by Uvinol A Plus, Uvinol T 150 and Tinosorb M to help protect from the harmful UV rays. Claims to moisturize and soothe the skin with Cica + its own active components, Vit E, Panthenol and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate.

To again ease your worries from the sunscreen issues earlier this year - Benton had this undergo a UV protection test conducted and verified by the European Cosmetics Regulatory Institution.

💚LOVES (YMMV):

Definitely a winner for my light brown skintone.

This alcohol-free sunscreen leaves zero whitecast. Yas! It goes from mint green in color to invisible, once applied to skin. Lightweight cream texure glides smoothly on skin, absorbs nicely and doesnt feel tacky and greasy. Helps a bit in keeping sebum at bay, too.

I also love that this soothes my skin well, and has that cooling effect upon application. I dont mind that it smells lightly of Rosemary because its a calming scent that I like.

I prefer to use this alone when going out because, I find it moisturizing enough for me. Adding a serum and cream might feel too much for my oily skin in this hot weather.

After application, my skin feels hydrated and moist. No whitecast. I just dab some translucent powder when Im not in the mood for that dewy look. A must-try.

Its also good to know that this is a cruelty-free and vegan friendly sun cream.



💚HEADS UP:

For the EO-sensitive, this has Rosemary Leaf Oil. The guide I received mentioned this also offers whitening and wrinkle improvement -- I guess I have to use this more often, and longer to reap those benefits. Happy to see Niacinamide and Adenosine in the IL too.

A Promising Vit C Serum

2nd Qtr Wishtrend Review BY WISHTREND Pure Vitamin C 21.5% Advanced Serum Promising, but I only used this for about 2 weeks because, it has already oxidized a bit when I received the package. The product leaked even if the bottle was intact and tightly sealed. Culprit was probably pressure during transit. Sad, but I decided to still give it a try. This #WellAging serum claims to remove dead cells to even out the skin tone, and brighten the complexion. Key ingredients are 70% Vitamin Tree Water, and 21.5% Pure Vitamin C. Happy to know that this also contains Sodium Hyaluronate and Panthenol. 💚 thoughts & experience (ymmv): The serum has already turned to a light yellow liquid when I started using it because of what happened during shipping. Dr. Jart+ Solarbiome™ Ampoule SPF 50+, PA++++ Ah. Its been a long time since I last posted here. Sigh. Anyways. Just happy to be back. On to my sunscreen review. I bought this some time ago because the NASA logo got me curious. Yeah, the marketing worked on me. I also bought the Solarbiome™ Primer. Good job, Ann. 😂 Nevertheless, I am happy to report that I enjoyed and loved them both. No regrets. I'd still love this even without the NASA logo. Its Dr. Jart. The only doctor I like.
