L'ESSENTIAL Rhodiola Lively Triple Cream
••
Once upon a time when I was a teenager๐, I'd always look for the "oil-free" label before I buy a moisturizer for my oil-factory face. Hey, that was what the beauty magazines taught me. Lol. Now, at my age - I just enjoy them all gel and thick creams. As long as its nourishing for my mature skin, wont break me out and has ingredients that I like.
Heres one thats great at pampering my skin.
This cream contains various plant-derived ingredients like Rhodiola Sacra Root Extract and Witch Hazel Leaf Water + 10 types of Hyaluronic Acids in different sizes. Claims to help improve elasticity, calm the skin and provide rich moisture.
๐LOVES (YMMV):
My skin enjoys this at night. It has a thick but soft gel texture that glides on skin creamy and smoothly. It doesnt absorb fast, but instead, forms a kind-of protective film on top, that hugs the skin and seals in all the moisture. This is ok for me, because it doesnt feel icky. It sits comfortably on my skin and serves like a sleeping mask as well.
This is also one of the creams that I have on rotation for treatment nights. Short routine - I simply sandwich my 10% AHA serum between the Rhodiola Relief First Toner and this moisturizer, and Im all set for bed. Double soothing + Super hydrating + Rich moisture.๐
It says this is best for dry and combination skin types, but my oily skin is not complaining. True to its claims, it does soothe my skin well, and I love the rich moisture that lasts for many hours. My skin feels supple and still very hydrated when I wake up in the morning. No irritation or breakouts experienced. Im happy with the nourishment I get from this cream, and my skin loves it.
Of course, YMMV.
๐HEADS UP:
For the EO-sensitive, this has a few at the bottom of the IL.
